So i've been using squeezebox now for a week and i love it!!! i mean talk about rediscovering my music. using the controller is awesome. i am going to be quickly rolling it out to other areas of my home. there are so many things i love, there are too many to list:
- crossfade
- random music creation
- the controller is awesome with album art and ipod like navigation
- integration with internet music streams/podcasts
- pretty hassle free
- functionality is wide and deep (thanks to open source) in such a short time being on the market

So just a thanks to everyone. i only wish i could afford the transporter and that i had the programming skills to contribute more. i'm glad to see so many passionate users that are pushing to make this the best audio streaming solution on the market!!

I wish I could afford a Transporter too. That said, I had to have one and went into debt to get it. And if I had to do it all over again I would. Enjoy your music.

you're killin me. i'm actually thinking about http://www.at-view.co.uk/sb2.htm as it would look awesome with my marantz 2270 and it looks like they made some improvements to it.

Really unless you have the stereo system to match, the SB3 and the Duet are not bad and you may not even hear a difference, again depending on your stereo system.

I do see your point. But have you seen how good those two would look together sitting on top of his cabinet?

Looks good to me!
