I hate to admit it, but that would be a nice 3rd party option. Realize the
impact on official development and support though, as it means client
software on every PC that will view that interface. Server-side Perl that
renders in any browser is hard to "improve" upon.

JavaScript would be a wonderful language if there was only one browser...
I definitely have a love/hate relationship with it. I'm happy if I write
code that works in two or three browsers, by the time I've got recent
Mozilla and IE working I have no patience for testing Opera and the KHTML
crew. A little CSS is always nice.
