This mainly affects Kevin Walsh's plugins and it's the information
directly above the drop down boxes - eg "Maximum number of tracks to
show in the list" in the Top Hits plugins. I note it does not affect
KDF's Weather plugin.

Actually, I think this is caused by the old DateTime.pm and the new
DateTime directory with a plugin.pm within it.

If you click on Install the Java Web Start gives the following error:
Java Web Start - Invalid Argument error
Unable to launch the specified application.
Clicking on details gives:
An error occurred while launching/running the application.
Category: Invalid Argument error
Could not load file/URL specified: C:\Documents and
Settings\Administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet
Files\Content.IE5\UNEZUHUF\softsqueeze[1].jnlp
I note for reference that the directory does not contain any jnlp files.

I hope this additional information helps,

Steve

this actually has to do with the way strings are used. Each settings group has
a GroupHead, and GroupDesc. Then each pref in that group has a PrefsHead and
PrefsDesc string. When using the PrefsHead only, the Fishbone skin is set to
make them headers, thus large and bold. If the plugin uses the PrefDesc string
then it comes up as normal sized text. In the case of TopHits plugin, this would
be the string:
SETUP_PLUGIN_TOPHITS_TRACKCOUNT_DESC
and setting 'Suppress_PrefHead' => 1 in the group to suppress the heading string.

probably overly techincal for this list, but this is the 'cause' of such a bug
(if really it can be called that)
