View Full Version : Wireless G Bridges

Funny. I just associated the serious reduction in speed of my laptop
to exactly when the squeezebox connected. I had never specifically
looked at either the access point or the laptop because I just figured
that when the b device (squeezebox) connected, everything else
dropped down to b. Thanks for the correction.

Still, $20 was a *VERY* good investment to keep my laptop and wireless
camera a g speeds and my wireless squeezebox on it's on AP that
I can move around as I need to without disrupting my g devices.

It doesn't "go down to B"... the throughput for G devices is reduced
(typically 40% **while the B devices are actively communicating**) but
it doesn't slow all of the .G devices down to .B speeds.
