    Automatic Brightness on SB3

    Hi,

I have a SB3 and a Boom, the boom has a brightness sensor which works very well but there is not option on the SB3 to set it to automatic and the display is very dim even when set to brightest.

Is this correct or is there someway round this?

    Many thanks

The Boom has a light sensor, the SB3 does not. So having an Automatic setting on the SB3 would be pointless as it can't get that data from anywhere.

    Sorry, no way round this.

My SB3 is plenty bright. Are you using SC or SN? What "state" is your SB3 in when you think it may be less bright? Or is it equally too dim in all states? Do you have all three (Power ON, Power OFF, Idle) states set to brightest?

Your screensaver while playing may have a different brightness control as well.
