I had a similar experience with the May 20th nightly build when I upgraded
my slimp3 to 2.3 firmware (I am guessing you upgraded to 2.3 and not 2.2)...
All of my settings were wiped out and skin went back to the standard one.

I was, however, able to change it back to fishbone, repopulate all entries
and get it working (I also had to change player preferences on the slimp3
and tell it to be 320kbps, until I did that it wouldn't work).

Additionally the artist/album/song count in fishbone is wrong, it only shows
50 some artists and albums (I have hundreds of each) but it does show all
4277 tracks correctly.

Subject: [slim] Slimserver not working properly since upgrade

I've just upgraded to 5.1.5 and done the 2.2 Firmware upgrade

Everything was fine - hadnt change server software for about 6 months.

Now I have problems.

1. I have lost all the setting screens.

After initial install it was set to standard skin. I selected fishbone.
Refreshed and now have no setting screens at all.

If I uninstall server and re-install I can make setting changes until I
change skin and then I lose all settings pages - each page just shows up
blank.

Also the Slimp was running 5 minutes behind server ?? - I had to uninstall
server software to get time correct !

Currently the browse music folder screen tells me to select a folder by
click here to server setttings - this produces blank screen bar SlimServer
version 5.1.5 displayed.

But if I browse by artwork or genre's or albums most of my library is there.
- Library was 6000+ songs, now shows as 5000+ - cant rescan without
uninstalling server software again.

Help please.

Dean.

I've had the missing song problem which I've temporarily fixed by
going back to 5.1.3 and setting it to my actual music folder (not my
iTunes library). I went through such hell with dissapearing tracks
that I'm just glad to have my music back. When I'm less busy I'll
upgrade to the latest nightly and see how it fairs.

And is an uninstall coming any time soon? That would make
me so much more willing to try the new builds.
