Hi,

Okay - I've blanked both fields and cleared cache and the Slim device (the
hardware) is now fine - however the SlimServer software remains as I have
described.

Many thanks for your help so far

Dave

Hi Dave,
Server settings, additional, iTunes. there is a setting in there for iTunes
Playlist Format Prefix and suffix. By default, the suffix is blank, but the
prefix should be defaulted to "itunes:". What your itunes playlist should
look
like (and does fr me right now) is this "itunes: my playlist". Is the
iTunes
Playlist Format setting blank in your settings?

does changing the skin help at all?

as for the COMMENT problem you described before, I'm wondering if you comment
tags are somehow unicode format. Slimserver displays Unicode with sometimes odd
results. Try retagging a file with Tag & Rename, perhaps. Try a simple comment
and see if that helps.
