View Full Version : New Transporter faulty?

I've just got a new Transporter and its got a fault which I can't decide if it's hardware or software related.

The digital output to my main system is fine. The unbalanced analog output which I'm using to drive my headphone amp is the problem. The output from the unbalanced ouputs is low volume and highly distorted.

If I reload the firmware everthing is fine. However, if I unplug the machine and restart it after 20 min then it's back to highly distorted - reload the formware and it's fixed again.

I'm running a recent build of SC 7.4, but I'm not sure that's the problem.

I've tried a complete reset to factory setting to no avail

Is my Transporter faulty or is this some silly software gremlin?

Help please.

Have you tried a Xilinx reset?

I tried the 'official' 7.3.2 SC release on the slim chance that the 7.4 builds I've been using were the cause of the severe analogue disortion. As expected, no change. I've run out of things to try so its going back!

Hope I have better luck with next one.
