View Full Version : Firmware upgrade for TCP with SLIMP3?

My apologies if I missed this in the archives.

Is it possible to do a firmware upgrade on the SLIMP3 (not the
Squeezebox) so that it will use the TCP based SlimProto instead of the
UDP based older protocol?

Nope. SLIMP3 uses it's UDP protocol for firmware updates. It doesn't
speak TCP at all.

Okay, that's what I thought. Maybe I'll just have to get a squeezebox
then. ;-)
