View Full Version : New user with 35000 songs: ugh

I thought I played all songs in my library in shuffle mode using the
following method (but maybe I don't!):
Using the remote (but I believe it can be done in the same way through the
Slimserver software):

Select Browse Albums, browse up one to All Albums, hit play.
Ensure you have previously selected "Shuffle by song".

Sorry, I have not had time to read the whole thread so I am probably barking
(up the wrong tree).
I also have a mere 15,327 songs.

Works for me too, ~5327 songs started playing within 2 or 3
seconds from hitting play.

Takes a while to load the playlist into the web browser
window though...
