Listening to my Classic Squeezebox today I found when playing Mp3s the player powered off and stopped playing after 20 minutes or so with no intervention from me. This has happened twice in the middle of albums. Here is a listing of my player attributes.

The Plugin Powersave was shutting SC down. Changed setting in powersave from always on to on when paused or stopped.

I am not a high-end audiophile, but am a slimdevice lover. I have my
slimdevice hooked up to $200 Sony receiver, and it drives up to 4 sets
of in-wall 8 ohm speakers. I rarely have it drive more than 2 pairs.

The receiver I have is fine, and really could be just an amp, but it
needs to be replaced as it's about 1/2 inch too deep for the cabinet I
now have it in. The cabinet is 17" wide, but only 10" deep.

Does anyone know of a small footprint amp that's a good choice for me?
I would like one that's 9" deep or smaller. It doesn't have to be high-
end, and in the $200 price range would be great.

TIA,
