This why I create the custome string. I just have it
display "Shuffled". No problem though with using the
PLAYING string. My whole point was to modify the
string so as not to take up so much space. It was
nice to be able to look at it and quickly see that I'm
in shuffle mode but it's not imperative.

its seems this change was made about 6 months ago. From teh comment, it seems
this was also due to much complaining about the whole shuffled string.

Maybe a better way to go on this one would be to bring the string back, but have
the default localisations set the same as NOW_PLAYING. This way, users can
still create their own string files that will show different strings for
shuffled and unshuffled.
