Hi all,

After successfully running my slimserver ( 5.1.5 ) on a Windows 2003 Server
platform, I have deciced to move it to my Linux server.

Apologies if this has been covered many times before, but are there any
"pit-holes" to avoid when running slimserver on the Linux platform ? Does
the LAME plugin work as on the Windows platform etc etc..

Any tips or pointers greatly appreciated ( as always )

Thanks in advance

John.

You should find Lame packages for RedHat on the net.

There's no GUI for the slimserver on Linux, it's installed as a service.
The GUI on Windows is a slightly enhanced wrapper to MSIE which only
display the slimserver's web interface.
