Hi, all!

Today I got my Squeezebox wlan. I tried to set it up as described in the
manual. When using the wlan interface (with a dlink ap 2600+ access point),
the squeezebox can connect to my wlan (no wep) and even gets a ip via dhcp.
In the ap's logfile the connection can be seen.

Then the Squeezebox doesn't find the slimserver. When I enter its ip
manually I won't work either. I tried to ping the Squeezebox, but I get no
answer from it.

When I connect it vie ethernet, everything works fine.

Is the a hardware defect? Can anyone help me?

Yours,
Michael.

Now I found out some new information:

I can connect the squeezebox to my Laptop (pcmcia 802.11b card), but when I
try to reach my server (with a pci 802.11g card), the connection won't be
established.

Somehow it seems that the interaction between the 11b-Squeezebox and the 11g
Networkadapter is the problem. I can't understand why: I can access my server
using my laptop just fine. And the Accesspoint interacts very good with the
Squeezebox.

Yours,
Michael.

And now I know even why: I forgot to open my MAC-based Firewall on the server
to grant access to the Squeezebox... Now it works. And I love it :-)

Michael.
