Hey all,

Installed latest 5.1.5 build for Windows on my Win2k box today after updating from 5.1.3. Shoutcast browser locks up my Slimp3 with a 'Cannot connect to server... Does server exist on 192.168.1.10?' style error whenever I access an 'unpopular' stream, i.e., one that potentially may have gone offline since the menu cached its existence. The 'Misc genres' is a good place to try and replicate the error.

Have to reboot PC to resolve issue.

5.1.3 seemed to be ok with this but then I didn't test the Shoutcast plugin as much on 5.1.3 - I was still in awe that I could get the plugin Shoutcast working at all on Windows!

Cheers,

John

I just noticed this as well. However, I get the same message no matter what
stream I have tried to conncet to. When I use "/etc/init.d/slimserver status" it
shows that status as stopped. If I restart the server, it's fine until I try to
use the plugin again at which time it stops the server.

I know that an updated version of the plugin was posted yesterday, was that
incorporated into 5.1.5? The only changes that I have made since last using the
Shoutcast plugin are the upgrade to 5.1.5 from 5.1.4 and installing the Live
Archive plug-in.

If any log files would be of assistance, let me know which and how to provide them.

-Tom
