View Full Version : tracks skipping

I have experienced this same problem regularly, on two different, separated
systems.
Both are on WinXP systems, and both are WIRED, not wireless.

I have not been able to find out when the problem shows up, and cannot
reproduce it.

One of these systems is in an environment where the squeezebox is connected
directly to the (dedicated!) server - which is a NEW computer with nothing
else to do but serve the music to the SB.
With no unnecessary options and services running. So it's hard to figure
out what the problem is.

Could it be some complex VBR encoding issue?

There have been postings about it regularly on this list, but hardly any
serious reactions.

Peter

Hi Peter,

This behavior is definitely not expected and is almost certainly not
related to VBR encoding.

Can you post more about your system? (OS, speed, memory, library size,
iTunes, MoodLogic, etc...)
Also, describe in detail the problem and when it happens...

I'm sure we'll figure out what's going on.
