Hi guys,

my setup is windows XP, SC 7.2.1 and Sb3.

My problem is that the default skin for SC starts to hog ALL the CPU after few minutes of active use (ie. skipping tracks, fast forwarding tracks, playing a playlist)

I end up having to shut it down. have resorted to the Classic Skin but this does not provide all the functionality I want.
Any ideas what can be casuing the default skin to grab all the CPU??

Cheers,

What browser? What CPU/RAM?

And really only after a few minutes?

Michael

Hi Michael,

Its a 1.8Ghz with with 1GB RAM. Using internet Explorer.
And yes, if I actively use it, it can starting taking over my PC in a few minutes. I have not tried leaving it running to see if it does the same thing...

Any clues?

Not really. Could you please do the test just leaving it sitting there for
a while? And then get a decent browser ;-)
