View Full Version : When can Swedish customers expect any personalized webradio in our squeezebox

I just filed the following request with Logitech support. I think it is time that Logitech started thinking about their loyal customers in smaller countries (like Sweden).

"Customers in other countries have a choice of several (Slacker, Deezer, LastFM, Pandora, Raphsody) personalized web-radio services in their squeezeboxes, when can Swedish (and customers in other smaller countries) get at least one?

Logitech is a large company, I am sure that if you put your mind to it you could get LastFM or Deezer to open up streaming for other European customers."

Believe me, we would _love_ to provide such services. But it's not in our
hands. It's mainly the music labels and lawiers who decide what we can
provide and what not. Living in Switzerland I can really feel your pain
:-(.

BTW: what local services do you have available in Sweden?

Michael, I understand that it is in the hands of corporate lawyers and such. My goal with this thread was to try to put some consumer pressure on those who can affect a change.

Depending on what you mean by local services we have http://www.spotify.com (started and developed in Sweden), that people who has tried are raving about. LastFM is localized, ie available in Swedish and has a lot of Swedish music.

Please don't forget to talk to the service providers too.

Last.fm even features Swiss German music :-)
