I may have spoken too soon. Today I am seeing the 'continuous refresh' bug on 5.1.4 on a remote SoftSqueeze that has a maximum bitrate setting of 112Kbps. It is no longer happening on my local hardware or softsqueeze players, only on the remote softsqueeze. I assume the difference is that there is transcoding involved for the remote player, but I wouldn't think this ought to make it refresh constantly. The remote user saw the same thing when using the web interface remotely.
