For Windows, use a batch file containing this line:

Start "SoftSqueeze" javaw -jar SoftSqueeze.jar

Put the batch file in the same folder as the SoftSqueeze files. Then you
can create a shortcut to the batch file on your start menu, give it a
nice icon, etc.

Incidentally, you don't need a batch file at all; just create a shortcut
with the following parameters:

Target: %windir%\System32\javaw.exe -jar C:\progra~1\Slim\SoftSqueeze.jar
Start in: %windir%

You will need to alter these to reflect the actual locations on your machine.
