View Full Version : 5.1.3 and LR channels reversed + issue with latest nightly

Hi

After an afternoon of playing ...
.... I note that the channels swap most frequently when
stopping/starting a track using Pause/Pause - on the browser interface or
the remote
[as opposed to retstarting a track a partial way through using Play
- on the remote, as it is not possible to do this on the browser interface
(Although surely it should be? Something to be fixed ...?)].
I would say that when using Pause/Pause
the channels swap more than 50% of the stop/starts.

Michel & Mark: Do you see this same 'repeatability' ...?

FYI I am running Firmware 21 & always update to the latest nightly each day.

BTW the latest nightly (SlimServer_v2004-04-18.dmg) seems to get into a mode
where the browser interface is constantly updated
(despite my having the Browser Refresh Timing set to 300) ... :-O

Regards

Mike

Hi Mike,

I'll try to see if I can reproduce it the same way. I'll let you know.

I am using 5.1.3 with firmware 10.

This seems to match with my observation that restarting a track
with play never seemed to make it go right again.

I can't say it is that repeatable. When I first tried it the channels
were the wrong way ~75% of the time. After adding some extra files
I found it much harder to make it go wrong, maybe less than 10%.

Not for me.

I should have mentioned - I'm still using Firmware 10 - I haven't
read through to see the advantages of 21 yet and haven't forced
an upgrade to it.

Cheers,
Mark.
