    Shoutcast plugin problem

Just a little update - it seems to be a problem in general - not
specifically related to the Shoutcast plugin

Ie this url for Virgin Radio shows the problem and there is an attached
    playlist file for this
    too

Although this plays almost perfectly in WinAMP I have a slight niggle now
that there is a slight one second periodic glitch there too - noticeable
more as a 1 sec modulation on music. However it is vastly different to the
SliMP3 version where spoken words are not intelligable even. This couldn't
be anything introduced by an ISP could it - eg some form of transparent
    proxy thing ??

    Shoutcast plugin problem

    Hi Kevin,

I've just tried this and also have a playback problem with Virgin Radio. I
am using 5.1.3 on a Linux server. Listening on Winamp it does seem that the
stream has a periodic glitch. It plays slightly worse in softsqueeze than
wimamp, and worse still on the Squeezebox.

I have reported this problem to Virgin Radio via the website. May be you
    should do the same?

    Regards,
    Richard
