Certain Track Not Added During Scan

I have one MP3 that is not being added during a scan - all other MP3s in that album (folder) are added just fine. I have tried changing it's comment tag and then rescanning.

After doing this I look at the scanner log and that filename is not mentioned anywhere.

I can play the file fine in Windows Media Player & MediaMonkey.

It did get scanned properly at one time since I had it added as a favourite.

Theres nothing that makes this file stick out according to Audio Identifier (it's track 1 that isn't getting added):

    Any ideas?

It could be that it is being scanned and added just not where you think it should be.

You could try navigating to it using the music folder functionallity of the music library and seeing if it will play when selected that way. If it does then check the library again to see if it is there.

Playing a file in that way adds it to the library if it isn't there so if you can't find it afterwards then I'd take a real close look at the tags using something like MP3Tag and examine all the tags.

It is possible that you have both V3.1 and V3.2 tags with differing information which causes the track to be mis-filed.
