Hope someone can help or direct me:-

Iíve just bought a Duet to use in a second room as I have a Squeezebox 3 set up with my main hi-fi. My Squeezebox 3 works a dream which is set up to look at my NAS which is a QNAP TS-109. Iíve set up the Duet but it looks at my PC for the music and not the NAS, I have tried to change the controller to look at the NAS IP address but it will not change. Any ideas? Another problem is the speed of connection for scrolling through my music library which at times is painfully slow (I have no issues with signal strength). MOBB

Which server version are you running with your Qnap?

You will need SqueezeCenter 7.0 or higher (7.1 or 7.2 would be a good idea if you ask me).

I've noe installed Squeeze centre 7.2 on to the PC, but as the QNAP came with amn earlier version already installed, I'm at a loss to know what I need to do to install it on the NAS, any help greatly appreciated MOBB

The magical word for you is SSOTS (SlimServer On Turbo Station)... even though it should really be SCOTS now :)

Using a Qnap NAS box with SqueezeCenter is now one of the best supported NAS setups, along with the Netgear ReadyNAS boxes.

What can I say, this looks exactly what I need.

I'll let you know how I get on.

Still need help :-(

I've updated the QNAP firmware to 2.1.0 Build 0800904T but I still do not have the option of QPKG under system tools. any ideas? (I also installed firmware update 2.1.0 Build_080624 as the release notes mentioned QPKG support)

No idea, sorry.

You might be best goin directly to the Qnap forums and asking there.
