Hi,

I purchased my Squeezeboxes (v3) in the UK and have used them quite extnsivley thank you very much.

I have however now moved to NZ and have to subject myself to using a UK > NZ plug adapter which is really quite annoying (not sure if I have the ears to tell the differnce in sound quality).

have contacted Logieech support APAC and they don't stock the Oz/NZ power adapters as spares, so i'm wondering whether anyone on here is suffering the same issue in reverse and wants to somehow swap.

Thi has also made me wonder what happens if my power supply dies, do I have to order a completely new Squeezebox?

Thanks

well, thanking you.

Jaycar are just down the road so i'll go and have a look at that sometime soon, just got to get my wifi dead spots tidied up and i'll be sweet.

Have also ordered a boom, i'm trying to convince my company to resell them, then i can get a free one as well..... / shameless plug/

The Jaycar unit I got has worked perfectly, cold to the touch so not stressed.
I use Netstumbler on a laptop to check signal strength from the WiFi router. (Just did a Google search - http://www.netstumbler.com/downloads/)
Also, have a look at http://www.freeantennas.com/, I have built a couple of these for different devices, I added one to a Jaycar Wireless Networking Antenna and got a good range increase, was pretty directional though.
Good luck getting the BoomBox.
