View Full Version : remote control doesn't understand how to type letters after 7.2 upgrade

This is driving me batty. I used to browse the Shoutcast genre list by typing "222" on my remote, which would take me to F. Now, since my firmware upgrade, I hit "222" and it takes me to the number 222, which is not what I want!

Is this a bug? How can I get the old browse behaviour back? I looked through the Settings in the SqueezeCenter and I didn't see any obvious config options. Thanks

Here is my configuration:

Hello,

I have exactly the same problem! But I had it also on previous SlimServer releases. I might be wrong, but I think it started with 7.0.1

Cheers

Do you mean "333" for "f"?

Wouldn't "222" have been "c"?

Just trying to get clarification before I ask an engineer on this... I've never actually browsed Shoutcast genres this way.

Hello, of course (at least in my case!) pressing three times "2" gives now 222, while in the past it used to result in "c"

Yes, I meant "333" for f. Thanks
