If I'm not completely mistaken the Slimp3 does support server side
transcoding of all the formats for which there is a command line decoder.
The only difference from the SB in this respect is that it has to be
reencoded server side to mp3 using lame etc. instead of wav so the sound
quality will be better on SB.
