ok, im from the uk and have a problem with my duet receiver, ive tried to call the support line but there is a pre recorded message saying that they are closed for the holidays. Being from the UK im unaware of any holiday at this time and wonder how long the holiday will be? Is it thanksgiving in america? how long does this last i.e when can i get support for the duet because at the moment ive paid a lot of money for a useless bit of black plastic.

What's the matter with your Receiver?

Other than that :-)

When I've had that problem pushing and holding the button on front until it flashes sometimes helped.

ive tried that, ive tried holding for longer, no matter how long i push that button it just flashes red. not fast, like its waiting to be configured but it does not show on the controller or devices listed on my router. Ive read many posts here in these forums and tried many things suggested but nothing will stop the red light slowly flashing.

Sounds like it can't get on your network. A couple things that come to mind are trying an ethernet cable instead of wireless, or assigning the Receiver a static IP outside the DHCP pool, and possibly messing with the channel settings or encryption type on the router.

ok thanks for some advice, ive tried using wired connection instead of wireless first off. The strange thing is that it has been working for about a week without problem. it wasnt until i switched it off to take it upstairs that ive had the problem.
