All,

I've been working on a SlimServer plugin that provides integration with
the Rhapsody music subscription service from Listen.com/Real Networks.
The goal of the project is to expand the sources of music available to
Squeezebox/SliMP3 users to include the large catalog available through
Rhapsody (with a paid subscription, of course).

The plugin is finally at a point where it's quite usable and I'd be
interested in getting feedback. Information about the project, including
links to download the plugin, can be found at
http://realslim.sourceforge.net/. Since the Rhapsody application is only
available on Windows, the plugin is also, unfortunately, Windows-only.
If you have all the requirements for installation
(http://realslim.sourceforge.net/install.html), please give it a try and
post feedback to the project discussion forums
(http://sourceforge.net/forum/?group_id=104650). For the curious, the
project is also available in source form
(http://realslim.sourceforge.net/developers.html).

I want to give a big shout out to Vidur for the excellent work on this
plugin. I tested it here with my Rhapsody account and this thing
rocks!

US only too, given the subscription limits. Oh well. Props anyway! I'm not
able to test, but great job in adding more services to the slim userbase.
Hopefully this will lead to many more plugins like this. Plus, now windows users
can have a plugin for them only, instead of feeling left out from all the
seeminly linux only plugins :)

This kind of support is a reason I'd actually consider getting a Rhapsody
account in the first place. Do I want to only be able to listen to music
I'm paying for when I'm sitting in front of my PC? Not really. Would I
pay for music if I could listen to it on my stereo, courtesy of my
Squeezebox? Yes, I'd definitely think about that.
