Unable to scan library

Hello,

I'm having an issue with my Slimserver installation. I had a working 5.0.1 installation and decided to upgrade to the latest release. I uninstalled the previous version and installed the new RPM. After I configured the new release through the browser and clicked 'Rescan', it keeps showing 0 songs in the library. My path to the library location is correct. Just to make sure it was not the release, I uninstalled 5.1.1 and installed 5.0.1 again, and I'm having the same issue - not finding the files in the library. So the question is, what am I missing here?

/usr/local/slimserver.pl --d_info from any terminal. confirm that it is finding
songs and scanning the rigth locations.
