View Full Version : Spam Alert: Controlling Server Audio with Squeezebox

Hello

I had the same problem when I first got one Squeeze box. No sync option
appears if you have a PC player. When I got my second Squeeze box the
option appeared and works. There is no way to sync, at this time, with the
PC player (I understand people are working on this?).

I'm new so no expert, but I could not see the option with just one box!

Nick

Right I have worked out how to play music separately on each player (should
perhaps have looked a bit harder before posting - apologies)!

But I still can't see a synch option (should I want to synch them)... or is
it as mentioned before only an option if you have more than one actual
slimp3/squezebox? As opposed to 1 slimp3 player and 1 pc?

I don't appear to have this option either. So far I have only used the
slimp3 unit but have been trying to set up remote straming across the
network to my study pc.

I have winamp lite, hae followed the online streaming guide and winamp lite
shows "welcome to squeezebox" but no sound comes out of the pc speakers?!

But (and this is where it relates to this thread) it does come out of my
slimp3 unit in the living room - ie. the two players appear to be synch'd
but I can't see a way of turning them off.
