View Full Version : Remembering playlist after restart doesn't seem to work right

Whenever I have to restart the server, the *same* playlist always is
restored regardless of what playlist was playing before the restart. I'm
not sure about this, but my guess is that one time when I restarted it
remembered the playlist correctly, and from then on it is not able to
overwrite that playlist to remember the current one.

If I can't get the remembering to work right, is there at least a way to
make it forget the playlist it always starts up with? I'd rather have no
playlist on startup rather than the same one every time.

You're running Linux? Check the permissions on /etc/slim*. This happenede
to me too, when I changed some access rights.

Yes, Linux. Permissions are fine (644) and slimserver.conf gets updated
regularly.

Check your playlist's folder, too. It's current location can be found in
the web-interface.

Thanks. That was it. I didn't even know the playlist was saved there so I
must have inadvertently altered the permissions of it.
