View Full Version : Cross Fade - I didn't think it was suppose to do 'albums'...

I thought crossfade would not manipulate consecutive tracks on an album?

I have a WAV file which is actually a DTS encoded album. When crossfade is enabled, then I get interference inbetween tracks when it's messing up the DTS signal by trying to manipulate the volume.

If I turn crossfade off, all is OK...

Is there anyway of better defining this? ie: Only cross fade on non-consecutive tracks or only on shuffle?

And if you don't want to wait until 7.1 you can get the functionality in 7.0.x already with a plugin:

Any idea when 7.1 will surface?

As I'll have to upgrade from to 7.0, I may as well just consider waiting a bit longer and going straight to 7.1...

There is no date in the roadmap on the wiki, but7.2 is slated for
August. That should mean it's fairly soon.

The nightlies are available now at http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/nightly/latest/7.1/

Excuse my ignorance - because apart from putting a couple of plugins in, have never touched it - but what is the latest (stable) version, and what's the best place to download it? I can see 'Slimcenter 7.0.1' on the main website?

To upgrade I assume you uninstall the current version and install the new one, so you have to put in all your settings/plugins again?

The nightlies are basically the most upto date version? Do these need a complete fresh install even if you're moving up within the same version number?

If 7.2 is coming that soon I'll wait...
