Hi all!

I am building a SB Controller for an ARM based platform using the SquezeePlay application, since my wifi chip doesnot support IBSS, is there any way to change the application so that it will try to configure the SBR via wired and not wireless

Boris Stein

Have a look around for the UDAP tool.

Thanks but i already tried the NET_UDAP tool which is very unreliable and not always connects to the SBR.

What i am looking for is a software solution within Jive application, it looks like there is a source that should support wired configuration but so far i did not succeed to make it work.

When application is looking for a device (the button on the device is red and blinking) , it finds it during the scan , but since IBSS is not working on my platform, i am trying to configure it wired, but there is no response from the device since it continues to blink and doesnot respond

If someone worked on this before (wired connection) please respond!!

I am adding the log when running the applicaiton in wired mode,
adhoc value is set to nil manually, and it seems that application is stuck in waitSqueezeboxNetwork state

How many times do you need to configure it? Anyway, UDAP is the protocol via which the SBR can be configured via the wired interface. Net UDAP is the only implementation I know of so far, but feel free to roll your own. As for running the Lua configure applet over wired I doubt many people have done that due to the SBC having no ethernet port!
