Denon's 1.5 meter (59 in.) ultra premium Denon Link cable was designed
for the audio enthusiast. Made from high purity copper wire and high
performance connection parts, the *AK-DL1* will bring out all the
nuances in digital audio reproduction from any of our Denon DVD players
with the Denon Link feature. Attention to detail when building this
cable was used by empoying high quality insulation, tin-bearing alloy
shielding and woven jacketing to reduce vibration and to add
durability. Additionally, signal directional markings are provided for
optimum signal transfer. Rounded plug levers help prevent breakage.

You're late, we've been having fun with this in the audiophiles forum for a bit already.

Denon Link is NOT ethernet.

Denon Link is NOT ethernet.

Maybe, maybe not. But that cable _is_ a CAT5 patch cord, and thus could be happily replaced by something costing $2.

And its still digital ! hopefully Denon's proprietary protocol has some basic error correction etc and it's still only 192kHz a patch cable unable to handle such a low freq will utterly fail as an network cable :-)

funny product, it's apparently risk free to empty the pockets of audiophiles.

It's about time they do something about cable vibration. I find it nearly impossible to enjoy my Duet due to all the rustling of my vibrating cables. I've had to resort to duct tape and cable ties to keep them in their place.

Ever wondered how I could prevent cable vibration too, but never thought of duct tape.
Thanks, Bizarroterl, you're my hero ! :)
