    Synching with sb / slimp3slave

So as I stated in an earlier post, I'm synching the music on my pc with
the music from the squeezebox using slimp3slave. For people in the same
boat as myself, how close do the two music streams match up? I've
noticed a delay between the devices of about a second, but sometimes
they get much more out of synch. If that happens, the player that
reaches the end of the track first usually waits for the other player to
catch up before it moves on.

For people with multiple squeezeboxes, what do you experience when
    synching between devices?

For me, two Squeezeboxes are usually right on. Slimp3 and Squeezebox are
usually right on, but can be off as much as a beat, and its usually a fixed
amount for the duration of a song. Using slimp3slave, i have noticed it can
wander. sometimes slimp3slave is ahead, sometimes behind, up to a few seconds
either way, and it can vary during the somg. Still, for a software player, its
    pretty good.
