View Full Version : Error streaming flac with accents in filename

I have 3 files with the same tags (with accents)

Joao Gilberto-The Legendary Joao Gilberto-07-Trevo de 4 Folhas.flac
Jo„o Gilberto-The Legendary Jo„o Gilberto-07-TrÍvo de 4 Folhas.flac
Jo„o Gilberto-The Legendary Jo„o Gilberto-07-TrÍvo de 4 Folhas.mp3

when I listen to them remotely using steam.mp3, the flac file with accents in the filename does not play. The other two play fine.

The log file suggests that the filename is getting mangled in the transcoding step.

Has anyone see this problem? What are the best logging flags to use?

But the same file would play fine if played back natively using a SB?

We did have issues related to transcoding, but I hoped these were fixed in 19663.

From the log output it looks as if the filename got double encoded. Did you run 7.0 before updating to 7.0.1? If yes, did you do a full rescan since?
