View Full Version : Slimserver as Service

2004-03-04, 13:11
I have a (minor) problem running Slimserver as a service on my Windows XP
Pro machine.
The service gets installed and shows running, but after a 'cold boot' the
squeezebox can't find the server.
It can after I log in, and even after I log off again, but not after a cold
boot, before I log on. Strange, because the same installation on two other
machines work fine, no problem after reboot. So it has to be
machine-specific, but I don't know where to look to solve this..

I have noticed that when installing or removing the service, I get the
message
"Name "Ogg::Vorbis::Header::PurePerl::Data" used only once: possible typo at
perl svc line 1043."

Does anyone know any solution to this problem?
As I said it's a minor detail because most of the time I do log on, but I'd
like this to work...

Thanks
Peter
