Should I upgrade from 6.5.4?

All,

I've been a bit (maybe a lot) out of touch with developments on Slimserver software. Here is what I'm running now-

SlimServer Version: 6.5.4 - 12568 - Windows Server 2003 - EN - cp1252
Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt

Everything is working fine for me, but should I be upgrading to 7.x? Am I missing any functionality? If I do upgrade, will it break any plugins? I'm running AlienBBC and have the Weather Time and Date screen saver installed (I think version 1.9.1).

You'll need new versions of your plugins that are compatible with v7.

You can take a look at the (long) list of features and improvements here:

If you see something you like, upgrade. I haven't had any problems with
version 7. I like the new web interface, improved SqueezeNetwork integration,
and improved player synchronization.

I'd say if you are happy with the way it works now, no need to upgrade.

SqueezeNetwork integration is probably the best thing about 7.0. I listen to Pandora all the time now since it's not a hassle to switch to SqueezeNetwork.
