My receiver is constantly blue and it cannot connect to the squeezenetwork, nor does it locate my computer.

My computer is wireless and I am online but the receiver does not appear to be able to connect.

Any ideas?

Have you consulted the manual? http://www.slimdevices.com/documentation/WEB_Duet_User_Guide_EN.pdf

Have you installed SC 7.X on the computer?
Have you setup up a SqueezeNetwork account?

More info always helps! What PC are you running? What OS? Are you using a Firewall like ZoneAlarm? Are you running an active Virus Checker? How is your network setup? What security are you running? Please list your network componets.

Is the Controller not asking you to choose a Music Source?

Blue LED means:
Connected to the network and waiting to connect
to a music source (such as SqueezeNetwork or
SqueezeCenter). If you are attempting to connect to SqueezeCenter
and the light remains blue, the most likely cause
is a firewall running on the computer on which
SqueezeCenter is installed. See Appendix A:
Configuring Your Firewall. If you are attempting
to connect to SqueezeNetwork and the button
remains blue, check to make sure that your Internet
connection is working correctly.

I have set up Squeezecentre and had been using the squeezebox without problems for a week or so.

I have tried a factory reset and I have also disabled my firewall to see if it would connect but it still wouldn't so I am at a loss as to what is wrong.
