Don't know if there is a plug-in for this or not (can't find one), but this is something I would find useful.

Using, for example, Winamp, within windows explorer I can right click on any music file, I then have an option to play it immediately in winamp, and it automatically gets added to the music library.

Using Squeezecenter, you have to move the music file to a directory that squeezecenter will scan, then open up the squeezecenter interface, navigate to settings, then scan for new and changed music. Then you have to navigate to this new music file and click it before it can play.

Or am I totally thick and not seeing some option?

A one click option to play a song would be very useful.

Some small complications:
- SC is not a player
- SC may not be running on the local PC but on some server

This is a networked system, not something like simple like Winamp.
