Does anyone know if it is possible to modify the display font of the
Squeezebox?

Call me picky, but it annoys me that the lowercase letter "g" is one
pixel higher than the other ones (I have not checked it but probably
this goes for "q" as well). I know readability goes down if you squeeze
the "p" down one pixel layer, but it is more pleasing to the eye.

I know in the old ZX81 printer (showing my age here) it was a simple
matter of patching the display font definition, but I don't know where
that is done in the Squeezebox without taking the source code apart.

Thanks,

Jan-Willem

Alas, we have no control over the font in the display module we are
using (except for 8 custom characters that we use to generate the
progress bar and the like.)

Even if we could, the pixels on that display are confined to a 5x7
matrix, so adding a real descender would require pixels that aren't
there.

Sorry,
