As someone mentioned over in the other thread, iTunes artwork cannot (and
has never been) read. Did you use iTunesUpdater plugin on SS6?

Please set logging for artwork to debug (Settings/Advanced/Logging),
re-run a full scan and upload scanner.log

And please give us some information about your setup: disks, operating
system, where your music is etc.

Hi again,

I'm sorry, but I am not quite sure about the iTunesUpdater plugin. I think I used that in my previous setup, but I have not activated that for my new setup. Will that take care of the art? The funny thing is that SqC 7 in fact finds the art if I open the albun info in SqC. But not until the album has been "opened" individually.

My setup is SqueezeCenter 7.0.1 (build from yesterday) running on a Dell laptop with Core Duo something (?) on Windows XP Home. The music library is placed on a 300 GB external Maxtor USB harddisk and managed by iTunes (latest version). I use the SqB Duet for playing on my stereo. As soon as the cover art is "discovered" by Squeezecenter it also appears on the Controller. I have set up SqC to use iTunes .xml library file for accessing the music library.

Does this information help?

Could you please upload the scanner.log file?

Michael,

After I installed iTunesupdate everything has been working fine. That's why I haven't uploaded the log file. Don't want to start a complete rescan now that everything works fine.

Thanks anyway for your help!!
