View Full Version : Database failure with Squeeze Center 7 on OSX 10.4

I run Slimserver on PowerPC running a fully updated 10.4.11. I just downloaded and installed SqueezeCenter 7.0. However if fails to start. It tries to start for a few seconds and then it just dies off. Here's the slimsever log regarding what's going on:

[08-04-26 20:55:58.8240] DBIx::Migration::migrate (115) Warning: Database error: Can't DROP 'thumb'; check that column/key exists at /Library/PreferencePanes/SqueezeCenter.prefPane/Contents/server/CPAN/DBIx/Migration.pm line 115.
[08-04-26 20:55:58.8258] Slim::Schema::forceCommit (1368) Warning: Trying to commit transactions before DB is initialized!

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I am open to downgrading to an old version of Slimserver.

It could be that SC7 doesn't run on PPC:

The thread suggests 6.5.5 which is a misnomer, it used to be the unofficial name of the nightly builds past 6.5.4 but there never was a 6.5.5. So 6.5.4 is here: http://www.slimdevices.com/downloads/SlimServer_v6.5.4/
