Can anyone advise me how to obtain / show the artwork album covers on the SqueezeCentre software (Ver 7) whilst using iTunes (Ver7).

Please follow sunes directions here which were very helpful and work iTunes artwork - how to make it all available in SlimServer/SqueezeCenter in Mac OS X
Just a short note, for all Mac-users who'd love to see their album artwork appear all over their SlimServer/SqueezeCenter skins (especially nice with iPeng / and the default skin with large artwork in SC7).

This is better than only getting the current artwork with iTunes Update (which is doing a very good job, though :-).

The solution is simple and free of charge:

a) Get iTunes to get artwork for all albums (advanced menu) in 10.4 / 10.5
b) Get the shareware software CoverScout
c) In CoverScout (unlicenced Demo), select Copy iTunes Artwork
d) Wait for some hours
e) Behold - all covers are now copied into the actual music files, and thus all available to the server. It looks great :-)

Get CoverScout here: http://www.equinux.com/us/products/c...out/index.html

And consider registering - if nothing else, then for the use of all the other cool functionality in this software.

Sune - Mac OS X 10.5.2

P.S. You could actually do the same with an applescript, but the one I got up'n'running was not entirely stable - CoverScout worked "out of the box".

No coverscout is a mac only application.

The problem with itunes artwork is that all artwork is kept
in a seperate folder and not embedded in each song.Logitech
has a open bug report on fixing this problem with itunes
and hopefully it will be resolved soon.

In the meantime there are folks alot more knowledgeable
then me who have posted methods to add artwork.

Please search the forums for "artwork" and you will find many
posts that can help.

I tried coverscout, but they only allow 10 downloads until you register

All you have to do is hit the copy button and it will embed all artwork for all
of your music files.

Please make sure you find the free demo copy listed here in the forums and all of your artwork can be copied to the music fileshttp://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=44506&highlight=coverscout. this is the link with directions

Johnsberger, thanks. I tried that and it works. Took maybe three hours to download, but I have the art work now. The only problem is , my controller wont connect to my SB. Do you think there is a correlation between cover scout and the SB system?
