When I select an album via the Genre->All
Albums-specific album route (from the remote), the
track order will be (i.e., 6, 1, 12, 3, etc. when I
select the SAME album via Genre->Artist->Album (also
from the remote), the track order is 1, 2, 3, etc.
Proper song order. When I select the SAME album again
from the web interface via the Genre->All
Albums->specific album route, the track order is
correct (1, 2, 3, etc). It is not a problem of generic
track names, 1 vs. 10, and the like. It is an
incorrect sort.

ok, its incorrect. But if you use the remote, navigate to same Genre->All
Albums-same specific album, does it come up consistently as 6,1,12,3...?

I have tried this out myself, and it seems that they are coming up sorted by
Track TITLE instead of track number when using the reomte as you describe. The
routine to add albums does have an option to sort by title. This may be getting
set incorrectly somewhere in your browse routine.
