Technically possible and just no-one has done it yet?

Searching for something like Rhapsody to meet my requirement of playing any song within 10 seconds of finding it on an online service.

Listening to my music collection is all fine, but being able to fetch anything at anytime for parties/etc is invaluable.

Napster uses PlayForSure (Yeah, right!) DRM so is not compatible with the Squeeze products.

What if the stream is un-DRM'd on the PC side and the resulting audio stream is then piped to the hardware?

There isn't a direct way of doing it.

The only way I can think of is using the Napster software to play its files/streams and then use the WaveInput plugin to pipe the audio to a Reciever.

However you won't have any control of the music from the Controler and will need to use the Napster software for that.
