This is a good idea, but it would require significant changes because communication is largely one-way, SBC -> SC. This is the reason why SBC status data doesn't appear in the SC Status page.

Now if you were CLI-savvy you could SSH into the SBC, I bet there is a command that produces a beep.

But, file an enhancement request.

Also, your SBC has probably gone to sleep by now if you lost it... I doubt
any notification would work over wifi once sleep mode is activated.

brilliant idea!

also, isn't there some two communication? meaning if i use the web UI to play something doesn't the jive display that if u pick it up later while something is playing? (i can't test that b/c i'm not at home)
