slimserver-6.5.4 ran totally cleanly, but I've just upgraded to squeezecenter-7.0-17793 and whenever I run slimserver.pl I get:

Use of uninitialized value in join or string at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 81.

... if I run "./slimserver.pl --help" (which I realise is not a valid option) then I get:

Use of uninitialized value in join or string at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 81.
Usage: ./slimserver.pl [--audiodir <dir>] [--playlistdir <dir>] [--diag] [--daemon] [--stdio] [--logfile <logfilepath>]
<snip>
Log4perl: Seems like no initialization happened. Forgot to call init()?
Can't call method "warn" on an undefined value at /storage/system/opt/squeezecenter-7.0-17793/Slim/Utils/Log.pm line 241.
END failed--call queue aborted.

... again, this didn't happen with slimserver-6.5.4!

Is this a known problem, and are there any fixes available?

http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=5833 - nothing serious. We're using a new logging engine in SC7. In this case it looks as if the code tried to log something before the framework was fully initialized.
