My remote control for the SB3 (Slim not Logitech) has just stopped working. Have replaced batteries and checked that nothing is being transmitted (with camera screen). Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Presumably I can obtain a replacement in the UK or . . .

Cool, I did know one could do that.

Sorry no advice on your real question.

Uh-oh.

We *international" customers have no way of ordering a replacment remote, or indeed any SlimDevices accessories at all. I need a new backlit remote and have ended up with an incident number at Logitech support in my attempts to get one (after being supplied with two incorrect phone numbers by the Logitech web site).

My two emails to support@slimdevices.com went unanswered.

To have to ring the States from the UK seems a bit much to expect.

I am working on trying to find a solution for handling spare parts in non-U.S. regions (both under warranty and "for purchase"). We're really good at shipping lots and lots of retail products, but there's really no infrastructure for handling small, "one off" orders.

I know this is a real issue for customers, but it isn't as easy to solve as we all would like. Hopefully we'll have some positive answers for you soon.

From reading this list it appears that the usual problem is that the
soldering contacts that connect the IR led get loose. Easy to fix if you
have a soldering iron.

Thanks Peter. I've taken it apart and it looked ok but I will have another look. David
